Use # headings, paragraphs, emphasis with **bold** or *italic*, ordered and unordered lists, links, blockquotes, inline and fenced code, horizontal rules, tables, and GitHub-style task lists. A blank line starts a new paragraph; for a line break inside a paragraph, end a line with two spaces or a backslash.
Markdown parsing and preview sanitizing happen locally. Raw HTML is filtered before display, unsafe link schemes and active attributes are removed, and images or embedded media are not rendered, so a document cannot trigger automatic third-party image requests. Supported syntax follows the bundled Markdown parser; this is not a full publishing environment and does not include syntax highlighting.
Use the preview to check formatting, then copy either the Markdown source or the sanitized rendered HTML. Escaping and sanitizing needs vary by where HTML will be used, so review copied HTML for its destination.
