Your text stays in this page. Line breaks, spaces, and punctuation are kept.

How the case options work

  • Uppercase and lowercase use JavaScript's Unicode case mappings for the whole text.
  • Title Case capitalizes the first Unicode letter in each run of letters or numbers. Internal apostrophes stay within a word; hyphens and other punctuation separate words. Other letters keep their original case.
  • Sentence case lowercases the text, then capitalizes the first letter and the first letter after a run of ., ?, or ! followed by whitespace or the end of the text. This simple boundary rule does not identify every sentence or abbreviation.
  • Toggle Case changes each cased Unicode letter to its opposite case. Some Unicode mappings can expand one character into more than one, such as ß becoming SS.
